Public Commentary: Has the UN failed us amid Covid-19?

Here is my latest article published in The Straits Times and Sin Chew Daily. Here is a Chinese version, also in Sin Chew Daily. This is a reflection from my participation in the Post Covid-19 Global Partnership & Cooperation took place in Zoom on 6 May 2020. In this article, I argue the crisis of multilateralism ad the pandemic has led many countries to put self-interest first. The visible tussles between the US and China in the UN has left it rather helpless in its struggles to find a response to Covid-19.
